Copper engraved map of the area of Rheinland-Pfalz from N. Visscher. Surrounded with cityviews of Metz and Frankfurt and costumes. With two small cartouches. Showing the area between Zweibrucken, Baden, Heilbronn und Frankfurt. First issued in 1621. Rare separate issued sheet without the text on verso.
Lower part cut up to the frame of the map, right images half apart, there backed with paper. Even with the losses a decorative map, worth in good conditions around 2500,- Euro.
